Surfaces. The biggest little tile convention this side of the Mississippi. Held annually in Las Vegas, a grand gathering of all things floors takes over Mandalay Bay for a week long convention.


Surface Art needed a bold, fun, fresh concept to stand out amidst the hundreds of other vendors. We recently acquired a line of tile focused on geometric cuts, five shapes specifically. A hexagon, triangle, trapezoid, and complementary chevrons. Tile is inherently mathematical – but it would be a different take to incorporate the tile shapes to both the product and product images.


Thus these 48 x 72 panels were a dream to apply my concept.




































Better yet was designing the accompanying 2018 product brochure.
















Ads were created for various accessory products Surface Art sells. It was a welcome challenge to design three different ads, with three very different branding. My goal was to make the ads relatable, fun, and direct.
